CME Feedback

1. Information presented at course will help me improve:

  • Overall informative and conceptual lectures were provided, making it a very good learning experience.
  • The talks offered a great feast for the brain cells, highly motivating and encouraging clinicians in their field.
  • Excellent discussions and eye-openers throughout the day helped expand clinical understanding.
  • The sessions provided very useful clinical case discussions that offered great clinical insight.
  • The Haemocytomorphometry session was particularly beneficial and highlighted practical clinical learning.

2. The material presented will be incorporated in my practice in the following way:

  • The demo sessions, PPT explanations, laboratory visits, and blood bank insights will be applied directly to practical workflows.
  • Practical knowledge gained from the laboratory tour and hands-on laboratory motivation will be integrated into day-to-day work.
  • Clinical case discussions and poll sessions will be used to improve case-based problem-solving approach.
  • Learned concepts on common clinical conditions, such as Multiple Myeloma, will be incorporated into clinical management.
  • Understanding gained from the basic topics and clinical presentations will be used to guide and teach juniors.

3. I have the following recommendations for improvement of the program:

  • Use a warning bell or timer for in-house speakers to strictly maintain time limits and prevent schedule overruns.
  • Improve slide readability by using larger fonts, replacing pixelated textbook images, and avoiding busy AI-generated slides with small text.
  • Schedule the daily timing to not exceed 8 hours per day, and include short 5 to 10-minute breaks or morning tea breaks between sessions.
  • Improve the laboratory tour with more hands-on real-time explanations rather than relying on video projections in small rooms.
  • Keep drinking water inside the hall. Provide answers to the quiz.

4. I would suggest the following topics for future CME:

  • Include more case-based discussions, preferably scheduled immediately after lunch.
  • Add topics focused specifically on isolated RBC disorders.
  • Incorporate more exam-oriented topics tailored for postgraduates in pathology.
  • Cover additional topics from the pediatric hematology specialty.
  • Include more resources and deep-dive sessions on Haemocytomorphometry.

5. Additional comments:

  • The course was overall a very well-organized, amazing, and stimulating experience with excellent presentations.
  • Specific faculty talks, such as Dr. Biju's, Dr. Anu’s and Dr. Sharon's sessions, were highlighted as simple, comprehensive, and outstanding.
  • Requests were made to share slides, case presentations, and resources with attendees for future review.
  • Suggestions were made to offer a Zoom virtual attendance option for future CMEs to allow wider access.
  • Attendees expressed deep gratitude to the organizing department and team.
