The departments of Haematology, and Transfusion Medicine & Immunohematology, Christian Medical College, Vellore, have been conducting the continuing medical education for post graduate trainees since 2005. The 16th Annual Post Graduate CME in Haematology will be held on 21st and 22nd July, 2021.
This year, the academic fiesta will be virtual owing to social distancing measures in place due to Covid-19. Nevertheless, the faculty and staff have worked tirelessly to ensure that the PGCME which encompasses different aspects of hematology will be of the same standard as the in-person meeting. Apart from the video lectures, a high-quality virtual laboratory tour has been prepared to take you through the coagulation, flow cytometry, cytogenetics and molecular labs as well as the blood bank. In addition, there will be a quiz for participants and exciting prizes to be won!
This course is designed for postgraduate students in their final year of medicine, pediatrics, and pathology training. The program has received accreditation for 20 CME points from the Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This much sought-after educational event, aside from providing an opportunity for participants to learn about various clinical and laboratory aspects of Haematology will serve as an unparalleled networking platform where you can interact with the expert faculty.
